Went to church today(Sunday), need gas and insurance money. would love to take my family to braums for burgers and Ice cream! tired of being homeless! Just came off a 2 day fast. Its hoty as usuall in Tulsa. My emotions r hurting a bit but my spirit is stronger. Must pray in the holyghost

Day 1/7 of Fasting and prayer Nov, 29
Well I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for my family and I.
This is just day one so not much to say about the fast so i'll update later.

Fasting part two
The Lord told me to go on a fast for seven days and I started it along with a friend but I punked out on day one! So I've done several 3 day fasts one day fasts two day fast and they were beneficial
but it was still not what God had told me to do. So finally after kicking against the pricks for so many years I've finally betrayed my loyalty to food and decided to do what the Lord requested.
So I will be blogging about my fast and give some personal fasting stories along the way, well for instance there was this time we were on a 3 day fast and I heard satan say I know you want a double cheeseburger come on wouldn't it taste so good? Well that got me to thinking about quiting
so about 5 minutes later my Father in law was in town on business and he just stopped by to say hello and he walked in and offered me a Double cheeseburger and I just laughed and said no thanks.
Well he wasn't saved at the time so I know satan was just using him to get to me and if satan didn't try to tempt me before he came i probably would of ate the cheeseburger but since he opened his big mouth it made me aware of his plan.

Fastng and prayer
Today (november 11 2007 sunny chilly outside)I put in a request for seven days off at my job so that I
may seek God in fasting and prayer. Most likely they won't give it to me so I'm prepared to
quit. I'm making my self ready for the next phase of my life getting prepared for the direction God wants my family and I to go. Satan has been holding up some finances that the Lord already said he has for me so that is another reason why I am seeking the Lord right now.

A new beginning
Hmmm.....Nov. 6 2007, I wish i had started this blog in the summer of 1998 when I had met my wife. A lot has happened since that divinely ordained day nine years ago. I was 19 and she was 24 fresh from a break up and I had just had a mental break down.
